This was our group for the second trip. From left to right we have Tu, me,
Dave, Christy, Mark and David. Our guide was Ty but he was taking this picture so
you cant see him.
This trip had much better rapids and alot more excitement but it was
sponcered by and they did a really bad job
cordinating the event. They advertise a steak and lobster dinner included with the
trip but then end up stoping for pizza (which we had to buy ourselves) instead because no
one made reservations for dinner with the rafting company. Not only did we only get
$10 back for no dinner, they did not even reimburse Dave for the pizza he bought.
They also advertised free t-shirts for everyone but then they only had large shirts,
no XL or MED at all. They also ran out of Cliff bars for everyone for
breakfast and played old crappy movies on the bus ride home. I was very disapointed
in them, they did not plan well. The rafting company was great though. Now
that I've gotten that out, lets check out some of the pictures from this trip.

We went with Dave and Christy. This is the closed thing to a smile
I've seen in a picture of Dave. It's a good thing he didn't know Christy was
giving him bunny ears behind his head. You can see one finger sticking up but I'm so
short I couldn't get the rest of her hand.

Mark looks like he's really excited about going rafting. Actually he
was cutting class this afternoon and was stressed out about his mid-term the next day
(which he got an A on even with cutting the class). Once we got on the water he
forgot all about the test.

This is one of many water fights we got into that day. The river was
so congested with boats that we would have water fights while we were waiting to go down
the rapid. It sure helped in killing time.

It was hard to try to take pictures and paddle at the same time.
This is one shot Mark took realy quick right before we went between those rocks ahead.

This gives you an idea of how hard it was to go down the rapids and
still take pictures. It may be blurry but it sure looks fun! |
