In September '96 the six of us went white water rafting. For most of us it was our first time rafting. The only person who has ever rafted before was Jim. We figured we'd play it save and go with a class 2-3. It was fun but we were disapointed in the water.
As you can see the water wasn't that rough and we ended up paddeling most of the way down the river. There were no free rides here that's for sure
There was a really cool hot spring were we stoped for lunch. The river was cold but below the little waterfall was a puddle of hot water that was crystal clear. We all warmed up for a while but it didn't take long to get really hot and want out to cool down again.
These are the other two couples we went with. On the left are Jeff
and Lynnell (Mark's cousins). They are soon to be proud parents. The baby room
is ready and waiting. On the right are Heather and Jim. Jim, I'm sorry I cut
off the top of your head in the picture. Don't even mention having kids to these
two. |
